Activities in Zoldo Valley
Summer is the ideal season to know and appreciate the natural beauty which colours the Zoldana Valley, it’s true I’m the lord of the winter, prefer the cold, but believe me, the reawakening of spring and the summer add a special touch of colour and beauty to the woods, meadows and pastures of the valley, loaded with emotion especially in the midst of the marvelous walks on the top of the uncontaminated mountain tops.
If you are like me, a nature lover, treat yourself to long walks through the foot paths that unwind in the valley, relax in the green meadow, or near the brilliant torrents where pure and limpid water flows.
Mountain bike lovers can enjoy themselves on the saddle of their bicycles by taking the route of the Civetta Superbike ring, a way which is found in the village of Pecol it’s departure and arrival point, in total 53 kilometres that crosses Palafavera, Col dei Baldi, Forcella Pecol, Pescul, rifugio Fertazza, Piani di Pezze and finally Forcella di Alleghe.
Motor bikers and lovers of street bicycles can find much enjoyment on the streets of Val di Zoldo, along the routes taken by the Giro d’Italia or climbing the most famous Dolomite passes, the exciting curves of the Cibiana or Staulanza await you for an incredible venture on two wheels.
